If there’s a smile on my face, it’s only there trying to fool the public

True happiness isn’t smiling all the time.  The immortal words of Smokie Robinson perfectly depict depression, this is often called the smilie disease as people who have it often try to hide it behind a smile

True happiness isn’t about material wealth, items will only tease you into thinking you’re happy when you have them.  But what happens when they wear out, break down or get lost?  Would you never be happy again?

True happiness doesn’t come from another person, yes it is sad if they leave our lives, but we can find happiness without them, we can celebrate that we knew them in the first place, remember the good times, think of them with love and at some point move on.

So what is happiness?

Happiness is a feeling of peace and oneness within yourself.

It’s being content with what you have at present, even if you are striving for more.

It’s not only knowing where you are going, but how far you have come.

It’s about being positive and seeing the upside of things.

It’s about waking up each morning and looking forward to the day.

Tomorrow I’ll start helping you find your inner happiness.
